Welcome!

Stamford High School is located in Fairfeld County, Connecticut, approximately 45 minutes from Manhatten. Our student body of about 2,100 students is as culturally diverse and dynamic as our city.

The Total Program

SHS has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. Among our prestigious alumni are U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman, former NBA Commisioner J. Walter Kennedy, and NFL Hall of Famer Andy Robustelli.

You will find our most recent graduates in the top colleges across the nation.

Our total committment to the student-athlete has yielded great results. It is not easy to make it through four years of our program - we demand a great deal of your time - but for those that do the rewards are plentiful:

- 94% OF OUR 4-YEAR PLAYERS GAIN ACCEPTANCE TO COLLEGE
- SINCE 2002, 27 OF OUR PLAYERS HAVE PLAYED IN COLLEGE
- 9 OF THOSE PLAYERS HAVE PLAYED AT THE DIVISION I OR I-AA LEVEL
- 8 OF THOSE PLAYERS HAVE EARNED SCHOLARSHIPS
- ALL RECIEVED SOME FORM OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
