Bluestreak Champions: Stamford Trio Dominates

The Annual "Stamford Battle of the Best" took place at Bluestreak on Largo Drive in Stamford at overMemorial Day weekend. The skill player competition was dominated by a trio of Stamford players. Despite being the only skill-position players from the Stamford team to attend the competition, Marcus Dixon, Khairi Fortt and Carrington Beckford stole the show by dominating the competition. The three standouts from Stamford were able to outscore Westill 62-40, and Trinity 62-24 to secure on overall victory for Stamford High.

Earlier in the day, the lineman competed, and Stamford dominated once again, outpacing both Westhill and Trinity by scores of 82-0 and 82-18. Overall, SHS outscored both opponents by more than 100 points to secure a convincing first place finish in the competition.
